Eat your food while it’s still alive!

In June 2018, Michael Rood will speak with Kent Hovind on Shabbat Night Live. Kent has become world famous for teaching, brilliant-yet-simple sense that debunks the evolution theory. In other words, “we didn’t come from rocks” as Hovind quips.

Ironically, most of us don’t think about this “life begets life” principle when it comes to what we eat and yet “living” food — raw, whole, plant-based food —  is the ideal way to provide “life” to our bodies.

The life force in each raw, living plant creates a unique signature of enzymes, phytonutrients, minerals, and other nutrients. This signature creates an energy pattern that transfers the plant’s living energy to the human body when consumed. Thus, ingesting plants is literally ingesting “life”!

However, cooking above temperatures of 122°F breaks down the plant’s energy pattern, making it less effective and less beneficial.

Now, that doesn’t mean that cooked food is useless. Though cooked food is devoid of living enzymes, consuming a moderate amount of cooked, plant-based food is not a bad thing. In fact, it can be quite beneficial. Certain beneficial phytochemicals, such as lycopene and carotenoids, are activated by the cooking process.

However, the fact remains that raw foods are, in more ways than not, superior as they have their own enzymes (life force).

Each raw, uncooked fruit, vegetable, nut, or seed contains enzymes that will digest the food in which they are contained. Cooked foods (and processed foods) are devoid of enzymes and thus rely on your body’s own pancreatic enzymes for digestion — and the more your body has to generate its own enzymes, the more stressed it becomes, which leads to inflammation and disease.

So, get more living food into your body. In fact, if you get enough living (i.e. raw) food into your body to address deficiencies while getting rid of toxins at the same time, you can actually turn the tide of disease symptoms.

Symptoms of cancer, for example, can and do disappear this way.

Symptoms of clogged arteries disappear this way.

Symptoms of painful deposits in joints and bones dissolve this way.

Even symptoms of emotional and neurological disorders can be lessened or even halted altogether. All you have to do is provide the body what it needs to do the job: Give it LIFE!

    Got my book and started juicing just before Passover. Meet Scott at the Passover event and was able to get some advice for my fibromyalgia. We have been juicing and eating raw every day since. We haven’t totally kicked the cooked food yet but have been working at flipping the % around. My husband has lost 20 pounds already which he is really happy about. We both are amazed at how good juicing and raw food makes us feel. I have a ways to go but I know enzymes will be the key for my recovery. Praise YeHovah and Bless all of you with Michael Rood ministries.
